About Premium Floors
Premium Floors is Australia’s largest wholesale supplier of timber and timber-look flooring, including laminate, hybrid, cork, and vinyl. Premium Floors began in 1981 with the importation of cork tiles to service the needs of the local flooring market. In 1994 they helped pioneer the engineered wood category in Australia, with laminate shortly to follow. Today Premium Floors forms part of the world’s largest flooring manufacturer, Unilin and Mohawk.
Thanks to their wide range of designs and styles – from classic to chic – there’s the perfect floor for every room in your house. Premium Floors carries an enormous range of flooring products and installation accessories and is home to the market-leading Quick-Step brand, known best for their high-quality laminate, timber and hybrid floors and their acclaimed joining system, Uniclic.
Premium Floors obtains its timber via legal harvesting methods; of particular note is that the European oak used in Premium Floors engineered wood flooring is sourced from sustainably managed resources. Most of their timber floor ranges are PEFC certified, while Premium Floors carries full Chain of Custody Certification (COC) for the PEFC program. The Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification is the world’s largest forest certification scheme, which ensures that the wood has been produced in an ecologically, socially, and economically responsible way.
